Information Security Management, Governance Highest IT Priorities for 2008
Last week the AICPA released the results of their 19th Annual Top Technology Initiatives survey, a study that identifies the most important initiatives affecting IT strategy, investment and implementation in business organizations over the next 12 to 18 months.

Information Security Management retains the top spot with IT Governance cited as the 2nd highest priority. Governance moves up from 6th last year, reflecting the market’s renewed emphasis on corporate governance and responsibility.

Trusted Healthcare Information Solutions Alliance (THISA) Launches at Annual HIMSS Conference in Dallas.
DALLAS, Feb. 14, 2005 - THISA, a nationwide consortium of IT solution providers for the healthcare industry, today announced its formal launch at the annual conference of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Dallas. The group's six charter member companies will exhibit together in Booth #1113.

Microsoft Promotes Choice Solutions to National Account Status
Alexandria, VA - April 3, 2007 - Microsoft has elevated Choice Solutions' partner status to that of National Solutions Integrator (NSI). In order to be managed by the NSI Team, a Microsoft partner must achieve sales requirements, have two or more practice areas focused on Microsoft solutions with a minimum of 15 Microsoft consultants or engineers, cover multiple geographies, and have attained the Microsoft Gold Certification. There are more than 20,000 Microsoft resellers across the United States with 6,000 having attained Gold Certification. Of all the Gold Certified partners, there are only 70 who are currently managed nationwide as an NSI by Microsoft.
